Sametime 8.5 Web Conferencing
The Sametime Web Conferencing server (also known as the Sametime Community server) is used to deliver the Sametime "classic" online meetings that support voice, chat and video communications. This course describes how to effectively participate in a Sametime Web Conference meeting. You will learn about the different roles in a Sametime meeting and the meeting tools available to you at each role level. As a meeting Attendee you can view meeting content in the presentation area but are not permitted to control what is displayed. As a meeting Presenter you can display a slide presentation, run a demonstration by sharing your screen, or use a whiteboard to draw a diagram or conduct a brainstorming session. As the meeting Chair you can do anything a Presenter can do and you have additional controls to send Web pages to meeting participants and to conduct polls. The course is organized into four modules. After the introductory Module 1, the material in the remaining three modules is organized to reflect the three roles in a Sametime Web Conference meeting: Attendee, Presenter and Chair. A summary of the information in each module follows:
Module 1- Introducing Sametime Web Conferencing
This module introduces Sametime Web Conferencing, the Sametime Welcome Page and the Meeting Center.
