1. No More IBM Notes and Domino?
Catchy headline but the real news is the IBM part. HCL and IBM have reached an agreement for HCL to purchase and take over development and marketing for several IBM software products. Included in this group of products is Notes and Domino. This purchase will take effect in mid-2019 (date to be determined). The exact details have not been announced. Read the various links below for more information and to get opinions on what this might mean for all of us, the long time customers/users of Notes and Domino.

2. HCL Launches Client Advocacy Program
HCL is moving quickly to communicate to their new customers who use the IBM products they are acquiring. Below is information for the new HCL Client Advocacy Program. There is no charge. A Client Advocate provides the participant:
- opportunity to discuss successes, challenges, and pain points of the customer’s deployment and product usage
- a collaborative channel to the Offering Management, Support and Development Teams
- proactive communications on product news, updates, and related events/workshops
- more frequent touch points on roadmaps and opportunity to provide input on priorities
- facilitation of lab services engagements or support team as appropriate
HCL is also expected to announce details of a Business Partner program in January.

3. Interim Fix 6 Notes 9.0.1, Fix Pack 10
IBM has released Interim Fix 6 for Notes 9.0.1, Fix Pack 10. The following issues were addressed in this interim fix.
- PCMAB4BMCE - Fixed an issue where File->Close All is not behaving as expected Standard Client Only
- RGAUAHBF9U - Fixed an issue in Xpages (Djtabcontainer Extlib Control - Toolbar In Rich Text Control) where is not consistent with different tabs
- LHEY9FNJQP - Fixed an issue in XPages where the XPinC resources are not being loaded correctly Standard Client Only
- JOHNAXJGW9 - Fixed an issue with the Client startup in Windows 7
- JACQAVQV8N - Fixed an issue where the replication and sync icon change after the first shutdown of the Notes Client
- EPORB3HQ6K - Fixed a Security Issue

4. Domino 10.0.1 Release Planned
IBM is expected to release Domino 10.0.1 this week. This release should address an XPages bug introduced in Domino 10 that caused issues with partial refreshes on an XPage. IBM is also expected to release a Domino community edition server (as in no charge to acquire and use).

5. Domino V11 Jams To Happen World Wide
