Yes, it has been a while since we have done a TLCC newsletter! Lots of exciting news happening in our Notes and Domino space with the move of the products from IBM to HCL!

1. Collabsphere Dates and Location Set

Collabsphere (formerly MWLUG) will be help at the Hilton Hotel in Woburn, Massachusetts on October 28-30, 2019 for the eleventh annual MWLUG/CollabSphere conference. This three-day conference focuses on IBM and HCL B2B application and collaboration technology. Come meet with your fellow IT and business professionals and share your experiences and best practices.

2. IBM Domino Mobile Application Released for iPad

IBM Domino Mobile Apps offers access to your Domino applications on the go. Without modification your existing Domino applications can be directly accessed online or can be replicated to your mobile device for offline access - all information is of course locally encrypted for securing your data. LotusScript and the formula language are supported. Your apps just work (understanding the limitations that it is a small screen). The initial offering works on the iPad only with other devices to be supported in the future.

A good demo application is the Wine app. available from OpenNTF (slightly modified UI for the iPad, otherwise a standard Notes app):

3. Engage User Group Was a Success!

The Engage User Group meeting in Brussels just ended and it was quite a success. There were over 400 attendees and quite a few HCL employees to share their vision for the future of the platform they are taking over. Below are several great blogs about this event. There are plans for an entirely new Notes 11 client (screen images were shared to the attendees) as well as plans to run Notes applications on an iPhone sized device.
