IBM to purchase The Learning Continuum Company’s distance learning courses for their Notes/Domino developers.

Boca Raton, Fla., January 29, 1999 - The Learning Continuum Company, Ltd. (TLCC) announced today that IBM Education and Training has entered into a worldwide agreement to purchase TLCC’s distance learning courses. Employees of IBM, Lotus, and other IBM subsidiaries can choose from a complete curriculum of Lotus Notes and Domino application development courses delivered using LearningSpace, Lotus' distributed learning solution. These courses will allow IBM employees to learn how to develop Notes and Domino applications anytime, anywhere. These courses will be available through IBM’s Global Campus to any IBM employee.

The Learning Continuum Company, Ltd., a Lotus LearningSpace Business Partner, offers a "virtual training center" on the Internet to provide advanced training for Lotus Notes and Domino using the Lotus LearningSpace product. Course materials are downloaded to a Notes client, allowing students to complete the many course demonstrations and exercises off-line. Students can get on-line assistance from TLCC’s expert instructors via the CourseRoom. This combination of off-line and on-line training maximizes the student’s learning.
