1. Interim Fixes for Notes and Domino 9.0.1 Fix Pack 7

IBM has released Interim Fix 2 for the Notes client, version 9.0.1, Fix Pack 7. This release contains security fixes.

IBM also has released Interim Fix 2 for Domino server, version 9.0.1, Fix Pack 7. There are a number of fixes which are listed below:

Reply Section Or Twistie In A CD-mime Conversion Is Converted Incorrectly In Fix Pack 7
Subject prefix of accept counter notice is not translated
Alarms are not set when specified relative to the start time of the meeting.
New JSON get document API cannot return valid JSON format for specific mail.
Failed to forward an invitation with use-json-document-api=1 in online mode + space / carriage return issue in JSON format + Got sync error when there is a specific mail.
Leak in Document.getRead method
Heap Semaphore contention in backend objects
Some external messages received are displayed as blank
iNotes: Alarm Dialog For To Do Is Shown At The Wrong Time.
iNotes API (form) to fetch fields of a profile note in pure JSON format.
SCNotes Web: Declined mail prefix is not translated in Japanese.

2. Save $100 on IBM Connect 2017 Registration

IBM Connect will be held in San Francisco this year on February 20th to the 23rd. There will be over 110 breakout sessions as well as keynote talks by IBM and the Expo, where you can connect with business partners.

IBM has supplied a $100 off code to IBM Champions. If you are thinking of attending reach out to me (just reply to this email) and ask and I can send you the code.

If you can't make IBM Connect in person the Opening General Session will be streamed live on Tuesday, February 21st at 10:00 (Pacific US time).

4. Attention IBM Employees - TLCC's Notes and Domino 9 courses are now available at the Talent@IBM site

TLCC's technical courses are available at the Talent @ IBM site for IBM employees including the XPages courses. There is no need to use a credit card or get a purchase order! (Note, there may be an internal department charge depending on your geography.)
